EU’s Conceptualization of Digital Sovereignty in Search for its Artificial Intelligence Strategy

As digital sovereignty being increasingly referred to in today’s discussions, conceptualization of the term is essential for the EU to compete, navigate and interact in the growingly digitized world. However, it has been a complicated process. While digital sovereignty is promoted at the regional level, it also exists at the member states’ level. This part of Ivy zi Yang's research examines the EU’s conceptualization of digital sovereignty at regional and member states’ level and its relationship with the EU’s search for AI advancement.
